It is situated in the countryside, one km east of the market town of Moncarapacho, at the top of a 2,300m almond orchard, the villa is partly hidden by olive & carob trees. It comprises of 3 double bedrooms, one en suite, & a 2nd bathroom. Open-plan rustic-style arched living/dining room, polished tiled floors, fireplace. Diningroom has large oval, solid wood table which seats 8 easily. Extensive patios surround pool & villa with built-in barbeque & semi-circular bench, lounge chairs, etc. Private drive. Superb walking country. Ideally located 8kms from Fuzeta Beach & 9kms to the seaport of Olhão. We will provide a well-stocked fridge to get your holiday off to a good start, and ensure you are free to relax in the peaceful atomosphere.

Moncarapacho is about 10 mins from Fuzeta beach, where a host of boats ferry visitors on a 5-min. boat ride out to
delightful lagoon beaches. Pedras del Rei, some 20 mins drive has a little train to take you the one km. ride to the lagoon beach where golden sands stretch as far as you can see.
Golf is only 5ks away at Colina de Verde.
Your hostess is a member of the Algarve Archaelogical Assoc. & would be happy to point out the nearby Roman & Moorish ruins, even invite you to join a dig!
Restaurants serving superb food at low prices abound both in Moncarapacho & neighbouring towns. Olhão is only a 15 min. drive & is the biggest fishing port in the Algarve. Have a sardine lunch at the Ria Formosa Restaurant on the seafront. View the yachts in the new Marina.
Tavira (20 mins) is a delightful traditional Portuguese coastal town & worth a visit. Lunch at the Barquina on the River Gilão.
